Mondragon Bookstore and Cafe

Mondragon is a political bookstore, vegan restaurant and home to Sacco & Vanzetti’s organic grocery store located in Winnipeg’s historic exchange district.

Inspired by the Mondragon co-operative federation in Northern Spain, our establishment is organized as a workers collective and structured after the participatory economic model developed by co-authors Robin Hahnel and Michael Albert. A proud member of the Old Market Autonomous Zone (A-Zone), Mondragon has been a focal point of friendly anarchism in Winnipeg since 1996.
